SIRA.O designer Thandie Harris-Sapp discovered jewelry making in San Francisco in 2002. An engineer and MBA by trade, Thandie learned the true art of jewelry making from her fellow neighbors in Mali, West Africa. Lured back to the great continent of Africa, Thandie resided in Tanzania with her husband and daughter for the past two years. Currently residing in Washington D.C. and studying Dutch before heading to Amsterdam for her husband's (U.S. Diplomat) next post, Thandie continues to find inspiration for her designs from her globetrotting adventures, the wonder of history and architecture, and the runways of couture fashion. SiRA.O has been featured in numerous publications, including Daily Candy, Sunset Weddings, 7x7 Magazine, among others.
